BIO:

Lauren stumbled into a yoga teacher training program over 15 years ago, in an effort to better curb her own anxiety and fear of public speaking before starting law school. A few weeks into her 1L year, she picked up a weekly yoga class to help pay for her caffeine habit; she’s been (mostly) joyfully juggling her legal and wellness careers ever since. In Lauren’s fitness and yoga offerings, you can expect a creative yet intelligently-sequenced, playful, relatable, and fast-paced spin on traditional yoga teachings and workouts!

BIO:

I came into Yoga seeking a physical practice but shortly realized that it was much more to it. I realized that this is a practice that can better improve the comprehension of my mental and physical self. With this realization, I dedicated my practice not to just myself but others in my community. My goal is to bring Yoga and Mindfulness to underserved communities, as I believe it’s a powerful tool for everyone.

BIO:

Jen SanMiguel teaches vinyasa flow & yin classes with an emphasis on creative sequencing and alignment. She strives to create an atmosphere that is welcoming and supportive to all ages, body types, and abilities, that is conducive to your exploration of your practice, to uncover/discover/recover your truest self. She doesn’t want to change you- she wants to help you become more completely who you already are. A student once described her class as the “perfect mix of zen and hilarity”- a compliment she will treasure forever.

Jen completed her 200 hour and 300 hour advanced teaching certifications at LL Studio (formerly Laughing Lotus Yoga Center), NYC. She has additional training in yin, restorative, trauma-informed yoga and Katonah yoga. She is a Queens native, a mythology and astrology nerd, and a cat lady.
