SPOTLIGHT FESTIVAL: MONTANA YOGA FEST

This week we had a chance to connect with Alyssa Davis, Founder and Director of Montana Yoga Fest who we are thrilled to partner with! What are you most excited about for this year’s festival?

I’m most excited to celebrate the summer solstice at MontanaYogaFest! We’ll come together for the traditional yoga mala of 108 sun salutations, a powerful and meditative practice to mark the official start of astronomical summer. And if 108 sun salutations isn’t your thing, no worries! The solstice celebration will include fire pits, music and dancing, and other ways to honor the sun and connect with community.

What is unique/special about the festival location?
Montana Yoga Festival is set in Choteau, Montana, a small town at the base of the Rocky Mountain Front. The natural beauty of this rural setting creates a peaceful and inspiring backdrop for practice. Studios are all within a few blocks of downtown, so you can easily walk between sessions while soaking in the mountain views and small-town charm

The theme of our issue is “celebrating age.” If you could share a message or piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be?
